ROSALINDA Philippine Version pt.1
Carla Aballena is the newcomer of GMA 7. She is the daughter of Rey “PJ” Abellana, a former Filipino actor of the 1980′s. She actually auditioned for the role “Lolita” (from the show “Zorro Philippine Version” which is now played by Rhian Ramos paired with Richard Guttierez), but the GMA Network saw her potential and gave her one of the biggest projects of GMA Network, Rosalinda Philippine Version. This is her first acting performance and her biggest break. She’s going to be the new rising star of GMA 7.
Geoff Eigenmann was a former ABS-CBN Talent. He actually started on one of the shows of ABS-CBN which is entitled “Ang TV” aired last 1992. But he transffered to GMA Network and gone to some shows. After 4 years staying at GMA Network, he transffed back again to ABS-CBN and was given some big roles, gave him some shows, films and more, that made his career grew more. Again after 4 years he transffered back to what he stated his “HOME”. And now, he is getting ready to play his biggest role yet as Fernando Jose. Rosalinda’s (Carla Aballena) lover. Hope he will stay to where he really belongs. And hope he and Carla will have a successful career on the network.

SYNOPSIS:
Rosalinda Perez Romero (Carla Abellana) is a sweet woman living with her poor Mexican family. When her mother, who is not really her mother, dies, she meets Fernando Jose (Geoff Eigenmann) , whose father was killed by her real mother and is currently serving prison time for. Because of a complicated illness, she loses her memory and falls in love with another man, Alex. Upon hearing Fernando play the piano, Rosalinda regains her memory but now must choose which man she will marry.
